![]() Other than that I feel like I’m one of the few people that enjoyed Drakengard 2 because it’s always getting bashed on whenever it’s brought up. The Ancient Tomb is where Nowe goes looking for answers and is where he find the truth of what he really is.īasically, I feel like people shouldn’t count out Drakengard 2, because for all we know Taro might pull something from it, and it’d be better to know it all. The Bunker’s server is where 9S finds the truth behind Yorha. The Bunker’s server resembling the Ancient Tomb with the rectangular structure in the middle, a sphere at it’s center, as well as other smaller cubes orbiting it. 2B’s opening line about about wanting to kill god, pretty much what the dragons want to do. In Automata, the androids are weapons created by humankind, while on the other side the machines were weapons created by the aliens. For example, you even mentioned humans being weapons for the dragons. Considering it’s only the second game in the series by order of release, I wouldn’t put it past Taro to incorporate things from Drakengard 2 into the other games.Ī friend and I discussed how the androids are proxies for the dragons, whereas the machines/aliens are proxies for the gods. Like yea, it isn’t directed by Yoko Taro, but then saying it’s non-cannon to the series means that your throwing away all the lore that Drakengard 2 built up with the dragons and the gods. This is actually one of the reasons why when people say to skip Drakengard 2, I sigh a little. Plus the irony that you mentioned, that Yoko Taro loves, fits pretty well. Pretty much it was the gods that created the Flower in order to use the dragons’ own weapon, humans, against them. It's ironic really that things would turn out this way. ![]() And that both creators, Dragons and Gods will be destroyed by their own creations. Both sides using Humans, a weaker race to destory the opposing side. Inevitable enemies.īut the reason why I find this such a fascinating theory is because it has irony written all over it. ![]() The gods have pitted these two races to war, where only one could destroy the other. What if the gods were aware of this side of the dragons and wanted to eliminate then too. If Drakengard 2 is canon in its lore, the dragons created humans to fight against the Gods and thus the dragons would become gods themselves. To which Dragons were the only beings able to completely kill an Intoner. It wasnt until Usubeni’s corpse (Zero) was re-animated by the flower creating the white flower to which gave Zero her abilities as an Intoner. But as we know the gods created the Dragons and Grotesqueries first and not humans.įast foward a bit and we have the black flower that was in the Cathedral City. We know the Gods wanted to kill off humanity because they deemed them as failures. So I'm pretty fresh with most Drakengard lore rn and I'm starting to want to understand things and come up with a theory. ![]()
